Riot signs 15-year lease for AI data-center capacity

November 4, 2026. On November 4, Riot Platforms announced a 15-year lease covering 910 megawatts of critical IT capacity at its Corsicana, Texas site. The company estimates initial contract value at about $28 billion.

Why it matters

The company, historically associated with bitcoin mining, reported quarterly revenue of $181.4 million, including $18.4 million from data centers. It also reported selling 20,264 bitcoin year to date, primarily to support infrastructure development.
