Pfizer raises annual outlook after $16.6 billion in quarterly revenue
November 3, 2026. Pfizer reported third-quarter revenue of $16.6 billion, operationally almost unchanged year over year. Excluding Comirnaty and Paxlovid, revenue increased 7% operationally, the company said.
The drugmaker lifted the midpoint of its full-year revenue guidance by $1.5 billion to a range of $62 billion to $64 billion. It also forecast adjusted diluted earnings per share of $2.95 to $3.05. For the quarter, reported diluted earnings were $0.56 per share and adjusted diluted earnings were $0.87; the two measures differ.
Why it matters
Growth outside COVID products helps assess Pfizer’s portfolio as it faces competition from generic and biosimilar medicines.
Rockstar Briefing analysis
The higher outlook reflects performance so far, but remains a forecast. Sustaining growth will depend on recently launched and acquired products as other medicines lose exclusivity. Adjusted measures do not replace reported accounting results.
