Arm revenue rises 27% as data-center royalties double
November 4, 2026. Arm reported $1.44 billion in revenue for its second quarter of fiscal 2027, ended September 30, up 27% year over year. Licensing and other revenue rose 50% to $773 million, while royalties totaled $670 million.
Why it matters
The company said its data-center royalties doubled from a year earlier. Its designs are used in devices and servers, so licensing and royalties provide different indicators of adoption. Arm expects first commercial deliveries of its AGI CPU in its fourth fiscal quarter of 2027; this is an expectation, not a confirmed delivery.
Rockstar Briefing analysis
Licenses show current demand for technology, while royalties reflect, among other factors, chips shipped by partners. Growth in both does not guarantee the same pace in subsequent quarters. Arm’s move into its own processors also makes commercial execution and its relationships with existing partners important to watch.
