GLOBAL INFORMATION · EXECUTIVE PERSPECTIVE
Airbnb revenue rises 19% and annual outlook improves
November 5, 2026. Airbnb reported third-quarter revenue of approximately $4.9 billion, up 19% year over year. Gross booking value rose 21% to $27.7 billion and nights and seats booked increased 16%. Net income reached $1.9 billion.
Why it matters
Growing bookings and revenue offer a view of travel demand on the platform. Airbnb raised its full-year revenue growth outlook to the high teens and authorized up to an additional $12 billion in share repurchases; an authorization does not mean the shares have already been bought.
Rockstar Briefing analysis
Growth in both bookings and revenue suggests broad expansion, though future momentum will depend on travel demand and spending. The buyback provides flexibility to return capital; its execution and purchase prices remain worth watching.
